Amazing Grace

For the first time in I can’t remember how long- I bounded out of bed this morning and got right to work. I had energy, I had drive, I had optimism.. I wasn’t in much pain and life seemed LIVEABLE. Stokage!

And I got SO much done today! I literally did two days work today, no problem. I coded a shop up, I entered all the content for it, I made tons of graphics for it, I configured the shopping cart for it, I even installed, designed and coded up a blog to match. And made two simple animated banner ads to boot.

If I can do the same thing tomorrow I’ll be so much closer to DONE! Tomorrow I have a forum theme to make, a wordpress blog theme to design and code, some orders to pack and send to the post office with the hubs, and if I make my goals for the day.. only a few more days of work until I can take that time off I keep talking about.

Having spent the last 12 hours at the computer working, I’m now tired and in pain again. So I’m off to stretch, have some hot tea, and reward myself for a job well done. (I’m buying myself a wee present!) The Good Lord knows that I need some positivity and encouragement right now. Since people are mad at me I’m not getting my usual cheerfulness from my clients and I can’t blame them, but it’s what I truly work for. The I love it!’s and the You are AWESOME’s pay me better than the job does, I’ll tell ya.

To another productive and positive day tomorrow! *clink*
