Rockin’

Yesterday the Serio’s joined us for a trip into the bay to have dinner and see a John Mayer gig. We had filet mignon and goodies at Black Angus for dinner and then saw Colbie Caillat and John Mayer at Shoreline. John Mayer rocked. I’m an even bigger fan now. He can play a mean guitar and has a really fun personality. Afterwards we hit Denny’s for caramel apple crisp and coffee. We slept in today recovering. It was a great early birthday celebration. I’ll be turning 29 again in just a few days now.

I needed that bit of fun. Life is altogether dangerously serious around here right now. I just keep deep breathing…. this too shall pass.
