For the past couple of days I’ve been having random headaches, bouts of nausea and my lips have been really chapped. This morning I woke up with a doozy of a headache and a swollen lip. Gas is above $4 a gallon now. Oh, and groceries for two weeks cost us $100 more than usual this go around. Fun.
On a happier note, I finished my new dress today! I’ll probably wear it tomorrow and take the opportunity to have someone take a picture for me to post here. I’m thinking I might cut out another new dress this evening to work on the rest of this week.
Yeah, I’m still playing hooky. I’m finally starting to feel alot better, recharging those batteries- and I want to make sure it sticks. So I decided that I’ll take this week off too and get back to it on Monday. It’s a short week anyways for us, thanks to Memorial Day and our upcoming camping trip. I need to take care of myself and while I still kick myself for taking a break before I finished my current projects- I know that this time my obligations can and will wait for me. Or else, they aren’t worth my sanity.
OMG the kittens are cuteness! They venture out every once in a while and get the kids all riled up and their momma too. I’m so glad we decided to let Nyx have one batch. Kittens have a way of making you smile alot, ya know? Every time my head starts hurting I just come sit on the floor and let kittens swarm all over me and attack my toes and let my troubles melt away.
