I’m coming down with the bug that nailed Liana and Valerie with things like bronchitis, ear and sinus infections. I have a fever, even. Doesn’t happen too often that way for me.
I had to “shut down” the shop (Phaedra Web Design) today because I’m currently backlogged four weeks, and booked thereafter until July 22nd. It’s freaking awesome but a little stressful at the same time. I don’t like turning work away and disappointing potential clients. And I hate being behind schedule. I know I’ll feel ALOT better when I catch up on my backlog. Once that happens I only have one big project booked a month. Then I’ll have free time and meet deadlines on time again.
My arms and hand are sludge tonight so I’m going to cut this short. I’m sure glad it’s Friday. Joey’s home. I’m going to go hole up in my room on my recliner for the weekend and leave him to caring for kids and house. I’m going to put work and work problems out of my mind and my feet up. I barely made it through this week and I need a rest.
